Awareness. Awareness. Awareness.
Awareness for AAA insurance—especially home insurance—was low, even among AAA members. AAA needed to get the attention of both current and new customers, but it’s difficult to stand out when every insurance commercial is about bundling—and other insurers have massive advertising budgets. We were asked to develop a singular message and an impactful campaign that could cut through the clutter.

Middlesex Health’s collaboration with the Mayo Clinic brings the best cancer care closer to home in CT, and provides their patients with access to some of the top cancer specialists in the world. To bring awareness to this collaboration, and stand apart from the typical sterile health care commercials, we created a series of TV commercials that feature unique individuals who have decided to receive expert care at home, rather than travel long distances.

The Hartford has been a founding partner of the U.S. Paralympics since 1994. This aligns with their Ability Philosophy, which is centered around prevailing, and focusing on what you can achieve – not what you cannot. We created an emotional way to bring their partnership to life. We mounted a 360-degree camera to U.S. Paralympic Athlete Mike Shea, and unleashed him on Mammoth Mountain in California. We then created a custom VR app that put participants in Mike’s boots. The immersive experience was loaded onto VR headsets and used at events to celebrate human achievement through adaptive sports.

360-Degree VR Filming
When new technologies come to fruition, we don’t run from them, we embrace them. That’s exactly what we did in 2014 when VR was the new cool kid in town. Since then, we’ve created and filmed numerous 360-degree experiences – including an empathy training VR experience that won a Webby Award in 2020.
